'Bentley Boy' Smith heads for forest

Bentley Le Mans winner Guy Smith will contest the Roger Albert Clark Rally for the second time at the end of November when he joins his father Peter on the entry list for the four-day event through the forests of Yorkshire, Scotland and Kielder.

Smith will again drive his Ford Escort Mk1 and is aiming for a finish this time after retiring in 2009.

“Last year the Roger Albert was a real baptism of fire, it was only my third ever rally,” said Smith. “It’s a great event and in rallying terms, it is the event to do.”
