A Shocking Film

Koni shock-absorbers are offering a 16 mm. colour, sound film on free loan to motor clubs and other organisations. In 30 minutes the film deals with the research and development of Konis and all aspects of manufacture and testing; the evolution of the shock-absorber and its principles; a section on motoring sport; and other applications of shockabsorbers in motorcycles, commercial vehicles and railway rolling stock.

A driver drowned when his car plunged into the River Tonge because he was wearing a seat belt, as the Coroner admitted. His blind passenger, who managed to keep above water level in the overturned car, and was bravely rescued by an engineer working nearby, could not release the unfortunate driver. So what price compulsion?
