Classic tracks feel the force

Pau, Clermont-Ferrand, The Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps all feature on the schedule for FORCE races in 2003, accompanying British events at Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Oulton Park.

There are also plans for a Springbok Series to be held in November for Formula 5000 cars, at various venues around South Africa.

David McLaughlin’s organisation will begin its season at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend with an F5000 race. The Classic Grand Prix F1 /F2 cars will then start at Donington in early May, with both categories appearing at the Ferrari Festival at Donington at the end of May.

Other highlights of the season include the Pau race for F1 cars on June 1, an F1 /F2 race at Clermont-Ferrand in late July, and star billing for both F1 /F2 and F5000 at the Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting at the end of August.
