May Cunliffe

We regret to learn of the death, after a long and painful illness during which she displayed great courage and good humour, of Mrs. Millington, who as May Cunliffe drove so well in speed-trials and at Shelsley Walsh and Southport, starting when she was a girl of 16, in a 3-litre Bentley, followed by the 1924 GP Sunbeam her father bought for her and in which he was killed while acting as her riding mechanic.—W.B.
