"Double Identity"

Sir,

Reference page 1484, I knew Arthur Wormald as General Manager when I was a very junior Premium Apprentice at Rolls-Royce from 1930 to 1934.

You might be interested to know that there was another Wormald at R-R during this period who was Superintendent of the grinding shop. I always understood that he was Arthur Wormald’s brother.

During a blissful month on road test (we had one month in each department, I occasionally had to drive Arthur Wormald’s green 20/25 saloon up to the front gates, a very pleasant motor-car.
