Hamilton moves to secure privacy

July 7, 2014

Lewis Hamilton has decided that he has to move to Switzerland in order to find anonymity and privacy. He said that he realised while he was progressing through GP2 in 2006 that there were things that he would have to sacrifice. His family won’t be following him abroad, but he says that although he doesn’t know the country very well he already has friends there.

Only days before the announcement, his home of Stevenage named a street after him in recognition of the interest he has brought to the Hertfordshire town.
