In reply to J. D. Sinclair of the Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., he states that as long as the correct tyre is used for each car, you will get satisfactory service from them. I have already written to Dunlops asking the correct tyres to use for a Triumph Herald, as the Gold Seals fitted as new, one lasted almost 12,000 miles before the walls cracked; the next 15,000 miles before the walls cracked. This after careful tyre maintenance, i.e. checking pressures at least weekly to Dunlop recommended pressures, also changing all wheels every 3,000 miles.
