Traction engine rallies

Many MOTOR SPORT readers enquire about that now-traditional English summer entertainment, the Traction Engine Rally—at some of which vintage and veteran cars parade. We give below the dates of some future rallies, as announced in Steaming, the journal of the National Traction Engine Club:—

July 3rd/4th: Rerupstone, Loughborough; N. of England Club. Bietly, July 10th: Brettenham Park, Stowmarket: Horsham, Sussex; Gringley-on the-Hill, Bawtrey (and 11th). July 17th: Hannington, Northants. July 17/18th: Applecord, Abingdon*, Chatteris, Ely• ; Bellamour Park Colton, Staffs. July 24th Ashcross, Taunton; Carshalton, Surrey: Kegworth, Derby (and 25th). July 31st/Aug. 1st: Bedford, Woburn Abbey, N.B.—Some of these may be provisional but those marked have been confirmed.
