Fredy Kumschick scored his second Thoroughbred Grand Prix win of the season, at Donington Park in May, his Williams FW07 finishing four seconds clear of the Brabham BT49 of Christian Glasel.

With Frank Sytner absent at Monaco, Nick Lirmey (Lister Knobbly) snatched second from John Harper’s Cooper Monaco.
