While in the Peak District this week I’ve sampled Simon Taylor’s ‘Derbyshire Road Race’, and what a great afternoon I had! The old railway bridge is certainly fearsome, and so is the hairpin left towards Youlgreave as the road swoops down from Monyash back to within a whisker of the A515. Brilliant!
I was reminded of Reims-Gueux with its combination of main road blast and country road ‘infield’. Thank you very much indeed for bringing this gem to light.
