ALDERSHOT COMMAND MANOEUVRES.
Military training operations will take place during the period, August 19th to September 4th, in the area, the boundaries of which are approximately the roads connecting the following places :—Aldershot, Farnham, Odiham, Alton, Greatham, Bordon. These operations will entail the movement of large bodies of troops and transport, and the R.A.C. therefore warns motorists that there will be considerable impediment to normal traffic. In order to minimise the inconvenience to the general public, however, the R.A.C. is arranging for a special staff of Road Guides to be in attendance to give warning of the presence of troops and material on the roads, to indicate alternative routes and to place caution signs wherever
tequired. Further details regarding the particular roads likely to be affected will be issued by the R.A.C. later.
