S.C.H. Davis honoured

The Freedom of the City of Le Mans and the Le Mans Gold Medal were presented to S.C.H. Davis, who was well known to the French for his many appearances in the 24-hour race, and especially for his dramatic victory there with “old No. 7” Bentley in 1927, at a function at the RAC last month. The Mayor of Le Mans, the Deputy Mayor, and the President of the AC de l’Ouest were among the invited guests.
