Open to owners of all the diverse Renault types, this is a Club of benefit to its members as well as providing them with competition and social events. It also has Registrars for the different models and keeps members in touch with one another. The President is John Bolster and the Vice-Presidents are Messrs. The Jowett CC, which as the oldest one-make car club is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year, has issued a commemorative calendar containing historic Jowett pictures ranging front 1905 to 1954 which it can sell to non-members for £1.00 including postage. Austin Ten DC
This Club now has some 1,100 members and caters for all Austins, except the Seven, made between 1931 and 1939. Its AGM will be held at the British Motor Yacht Club h.q. in Teddington on March 5th. Bristol Classic Car Show
Over 200 vehicles ranging from vintage to 60’s are the stars of this two-day gathering at the Bristol Exhibition Centre. There will be an auction as well as an autojumble, plus trade and club stands. The date is Saturday and Sunday March 26th/27th, and the Show will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days.
