I read with great interest your article about the Jameson Special, which was built by my late father Joe. As far as I know the car no longer exists, but I do have various drawings and photographs of the engine. My father designed several engines, including the Jameson FE Aero engine used in the Skeeta helicopter in the early 1950s. There are several men who remember working on the two-stroke engine and also remember it racing at Crystal Palace, and Donington, as well as Brooklands.
If anyone is interested in further information on the engine I would be pleased to try to help, and would appreciate any new information about the cars you may glean from you article. The Bugatti chassis was last seen suspended from the garage roof in Ewell, Surrey.
