Frazer Nash

The Post-War Frazer Nash
James Trigwell & Anthony Pritchard

FN Registrar Trigwell and motor writer Pritchard here make plain the various intersections of BMW, Bristol and AFN before and after 1948, when Frazer Nash cars with BMW design and Bristol engines went into production. It’s a complex tale, laid out in detail with generous illustrations including some 1950s colour helping to clarify all the models. There’s an extensive race history, plus sections on top ’Nash drivers and detail of every individual chassis. Appendices – motor show cars, LM entries, road tests, catalogues – are so thorough they almost outweigh the text, so this is not only a high-quality work but also hugely comprehensive. GC
