Sparkling Hill Sir, Watching the Belgian GP from the outside of Eau Rouge, I spent the first half of the race trying to convince a colleague that Damon Hill has…
THE JUBILEE WORM DRIVE CLIP.
Motorists who have struggled with the fitting of new water connections should study the advertisement at the foot of our last page.
The conventional type of clip cannot be considered satisfactory, as in order to obtain adequated pressure, an undue strain is imposed on the nut and bolt.
The Jubilee Clip, as the illustration shows, embodies a neat worm which engages with a number of depression in the opposite end of the clip. The strain is thus distributed over a wider area, and it is possible to increase the pressure without danger of breakage. Apart from its mechanical advantages, the Jubilee Clip is very easy to manipulate.
