A Club for Packards....

Sir,

I thought you should be informed that a UK Branch of the Parkard Club has been formed. This “Chapter” will by called “Packards England” and anyone who owns or is interested in the Packard Automobile is eligible for membership. Dues are $15 or equivalent per. year, plus £1 for UK Chapter membership. For this members receive the Packard Cormorant, a beautiful colour quarterly of 40 pages, dedicated to America’s greatest motorcar. Designed in the image of the Packard house organ of 50 years ago, this is magnificent collectors item in it’s own right.

Our five Charter members are Mr. Hans Edwards, Mr. James Collard Denne, The Hon. Colin Buckmaster, Mr. John F. Keeble and Mr. W. C. Carter. All applications and correspondence please to The Director, Packards England, Hans Edward, Crosspatch, Redhill, Rushden, near Buntingford, Herts.

Richard Langworth, editor of “The Cormorant” will personally present “Packards England” their Charter, in September when a party of 31 Club members will be visiting England. I will give you further details of this visit at a later date and it is hoped that several members of the NPC will be here at this time.

Stevenage, Herts HANS EDWARDS
