The rope of racing’s heritage by the Green Army continues. Latest victim is the banking at Monza which, I understand, is to be ripped down in exchange for allowing a few trees to be uprooted for track modifications. Paul Tarsey of Track Tours, a company specialising in trips to great circuits, has learned that the demolition is to start later this year. So if one of your life’s ambitions is to see the banking, my advice is go now. You have been warned. AF
