Bob McIntyre tackles the Governor’s Bridge hairpin ahead of John Surtees on his way to victory in the 1957 Isle of Man Senior TT. McIntyre and his Gilera 500cc four, with so-called dustbin fairing, beat Surtees by over two minutes and became the first rider to complete the TT at an average speed at over 100mph.
