COMMENT ON THE VEHICLE TESTS

Sir,

I have noticed that a dealer who advertises in one of the well-known motoring weeklies, states that a Certificate of Roadworthiness, to comply with the new “over 10 years old” regulation, will be issued with all cars sold, over that age. If this becomes widespread, I wonder how many such advertised vehicles would pass a subsequent further, independent, examination ?
