VSCC at The Verzons
Ti it, MORE FREQUENTIY THE OLDER CARS ARE seen in use, the better the arguments which may be needed to retain their freedom in this respect. So an event like Mark Garfitt’s annual summer meet at The Verzons near Ledbury has a value beyond the pleasure it gave to all of those who drove to this sunny Serendipity. Among the vintage cars, the rarer ones included a wood-burning Model T Ford imported from France, and four rather large American automobiles were of interest. Rodney Felton’s Testa Rossa Ferrari had as its companion the
2900B Alfa driven by Carole Felton.
The Distance Award was won by Gwyn Stephens from Neath in a Lagonda M45, and the period-dress-cum-car prize went to the Sima-Violet crew.
