* BRITISH AMATEUR. MOTOR RACING CLUB
Sir,
Our aim is to enable members to take an active part in motor racing without the heavy individual expense which would otherwise be unavoidable. We have at our disposal at present one car and a workshop, also another partly completed car. We hope to be able to enter one or more ears in most of the events next season, meanwhile we intend to organise one or two rallies to give our members a chance to gain some experience.
We are a very small club at present and our main need is members. We think there is a large potential membership.
We are negotiating for affiliation with the R.A.C., but this cannot be granted until we have at least 50 members. I am, Yours, etc., Keighley, Yorks. IAN A. DOUGLAS Hon. Secretary
