May we refer to the article in the August issue of Motor Sport by Mr. Rob Walker about his Mercedes-Benz 300SL.
It was very good of Mr. Walker to mention the K.L.G. plugs he now uses and we do appreciate this. We would like, however, to correct an inadvertently-incorrect statement that these were special plugs.
The plugs were our standard FE220 plugs,14 mm. dia. long-reach racing plugs, the “softest” plugs in our standard racing range. FE220 plugs have been supplied by us on several occasions to Mercedes-Benz in England for replacement purposes and have given entire satisfaction.
We hope you may see your way clear to put right the unintentional wrong impression that may possibly have been caused.
