It is, I believe, well known to yourself and your readers that rallying of any kind has recently been excluded from cover unless specific permission has been Obtained front the insurance company.
Rallying to the enthusiast means competition, however mild. The insurance companies definition, however, is ” a meeting Of people with 4. common interest for a common purpose.” Fritts seems to mean social non-motoring gatherings also.—En.] This idea has been adopted by them at a time when they are complaining bitterly about an increase in ” overheads,” and yet if any motorist wishes cc attend his club dinner, ” noggin and natter,” or indeed any other function, special permission must be obtained!
