The Croydon Airport Society Journal has an interesting picture of three big Armstrong Siddeleys at Croydon Airport, circa 1926, used to carry Imperial Airways’ passengers and freight. There were obviously either 30 hp or 18 hp models and no doubt the AS Club has identified them.

The Morris Register Journal, edited by Harry Edwards, had a piece on defunct Morris car clubs and advice about how to restore Lucas screen-wipers, etc. The Register secretary is Michael Thomas, 5 Woodland Rise, Oxted, Surrey RH8 9HW. The National Traction Engine Club is doing important work in ensuring that a Code of Practice is observed by those who run steam traction engines and wagons, and its high class magazine Steaming, edited by Roger West, is published quarterly, and contains much historic material. Secretary: J Cook, Holfarni, Church Lane, Kirby-laThorpe, Sleaford, Lincs MG34 9NU.
