A small field of 10 cars contested this short race over the twisting and flat circuit near the armaments town of Karlskoga and provided a welcome win for Masten Gregory in a U.D.T.-Laystall Lotus with B.R.M. V8 engine and Colotti gearbox. Bonnier drove a works flat 8-cylinder Porsche and Graham Hill the R. R. C. Walker Lotus-Climax V8., while Lola-Climax V8 cars were driven by Surtees and Salvadori.
