Christopher Ward is celebrating the launch of its motor sport watch range with a UK talent search
For the last five years, premium watch brand Christopher Ward’s Challenger Programme has been giving grassroots sports people with world-class potential the big breaks they deserve. They’ve reached out to Paralympians, sailors, shooters, explorers and climbers, but now they’re on the search for the next big motor sport talent.
Announcing the launch of their six-week UK talent search, the Need for Speed, Christopher Ward is inviting talented grassroots car and ‘bike racers who need a helping hand to realise their full potential to apply for a place on their prestigious Challenger Programme. The successful applicant will receive financial backing, PR support and even a watch allowance.
The competition coincides with the launch of Christopher Ward’s new C7 Rapide motor sport collection and runs for six weeks to celebrate the six watches in their new range. “The motor sport industry – with its principles of cutting-edge technology, beautiful design and powerful performance – has always gone hand-in-hand with our vision and values,” Christopher Ward co-founder Mike France says. “Through expanding our Challenger Programme, we’re hugely excited to support an up-and-coming motor sport star and play a part in their journey to success.”
Current participants on the Challenger Programme include Olympic gold medallist rower Will Satch MBE, Scottish wheelchair racer Sammi Kinghorn and English explorer Jamie Maddison.
