Four-time IndyCar champion and three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti joins Rob Widdows for the latest in our special podcast series, celebrating 100 years of Motor Sport magazine.

Now working as an advisor and driver coach to Chip Ganassi Racing, Franchitti looks back at his glittering career. He reflects on his greatest wins; the Le Mans opportunity he missed due to his career-ending crash — and why he counts himself lucky following the horrific accident.

The Scot, who turned down the opportunity to be McLaren’s test driver, reveals why he wouldn’t trade his IndyCar success for a shot in Formula 1. He does, however, reveal his one regret from missing out on a grand prix career.

He speaks more about his role helping Gordon Murray to develop supercars, and identifies his toughest opponents in a career marked with high-stakes racing, tragedy and multiple successes.
