Hülkenberg was 'in denial' about first F1 podium in British GP
Hülkenberg went from almost last to third in the British Grand Prix
One of the main fears about next year’s new V6 turbo F1 engines is the reduction in noise from the current 2.4-litre V8s. It’s not only the fans that have expressed concerns, those within the sport have spoken up as well.
Mercedes has just released this simulator video demonstrating exactly what a lap of Monza will sound like. If you’re firmly in the anti-turbo camp I don’t know whether your fears will be assuaged by this evidence alone. But if you’re still on the fence then rest assured that next year’s cars will still sound like F1 cars, and more importantly they’ll still go like F1 cars too.
