When Rob Widdows started his ‘Tales with Mechanics’ series on this website, one of the first names to be put forward was that of Bob Dance.
Dance worked for Team Lotus from the 1960s onwards and has plenty of stories to tell, as does fellow colleague Dave ‘Beaky’ Sims, who is still active with the Risi Competizione team in the United SportsCar Championship.
