NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon turns 45 years old today, so we’ve delved into YouTube’s archives and found the day he tested Juan Pablo Montoya’s Williams FW24 at Indianapolis in 2003.
“It was the most incredible experience I ever had,” Jeff told Gordon Kirby earlier this year in Motor Sport. “The physical side of those cars is much more demanding. You have to be in incredible physical shape because the car has so much grip it’s capable of doing more than the body can handle.”
