Cadwell Park

Lincolnshire’s Cadwell Park began when motorcycle enthusiast Charles Wilkinson persuaded his father to let him organise an event on the roads of their country estate in 1938. This undulating and picturesque venue was extended in 1952 so that 500cc Formula 3 races as well as bikes could be catered for. The southwest loop was added nine years later and the British F3 Championship continued to visit until 1983. The sight of the cars and bikes leaping off the ground as they crested the Mountain righthander is Cadwell Park’s enduring image. It was acquired by Jonathen Palmer’s MotorSport Vision in 2004 and is now most used for two-wheeled sport once more.
