Hong Kong 1569

Hong Kong

The 1.

The 1.156-mile harbourfront street circuit in central Hong Kong was an annual destination for the Formula E Championship from Season 3. Rodrigo Nunes of R+S Project designed a layout that passed Hong Kong’s City Hall and Central Star Ferry Pier with two hairpins and a 555 meter-long straight. It proved popular although the painted road signs made the surface treacherous in wet conditions. The race lost its place after the 2019 race amid political tensions in the territory and the need to extend the layout to accommodate Formula E’s expanded field for Season 6.
