The Kinnekullering was built in an old quarry set in a spectacular valley on the edge of Lake Vänern in southern Sweden. It held a round of the European F2 Championship in 1973 when the Surtees TS15-Ford of Jochen Mass beat a nine-car field. European F3 visited in 1979 but the short circuit length has limited its international use.
