The 2.169-mile Autódromo Luis Rubén di Palma in Mar de Ajó has been a national racing venue since it opened on 8 February 1998. Thiago Medeiros won a Sud-Am Formula 3 race here in 2001. It is named after the two-time Turismo Carretera champion who died in a helicopter accident in September 2000.
