Nashville-Nissan Stadium

The Music City Grand Prix in Nashville was IndyCar’s first new street race since 2013 when was announced for the 2021 season. The pitlane and finish line were in the parking lots for Nissan Stadium which is home of the Tennessee Titans American Football team. Designed by Tony Cotman, the circuit traversed the Cumberland River by using both sides of the Korean Veterans’ Memorial Bridge. It was held on this layout for three years before a new layout including roads in downtown Nashville was planned for 2024. However, the championship finale had to be transferred to the nearby SuperSpeedway due to construction work around the stadium.
