This was a tour of Sicily that held the 1906 Circuito Siciliano Vetturette. It was won by Vincenzo Florio, the founder of racing on the island. The Targa Florio was run on the Madonie circuits before the 1940 edition was organised on the 3.554-mile Favorita Park in central Palermo.
