Egon Brütsch’s Maserati beat Toni Ulmen’s Veritas by 11.4sec in the Formula 2 and Formule Libre racing cars and Karl Kling won the sports car event. Reigning German 500cc champion and pre-war Auto Union driver Georg Meier was successful in the bike race riding a supercharged BMW.
