Valdosta 75 Speedway (or I-75 Speedway due to the proximity of the interstate) was a half-mile dirt oval that operated for just five years in the 1960s. Opened in April 1962, it held three NASCAR Grand National races during that time including Cale Yarborough’s breakthrough success in 1965 on the last occasion the Grand National (now Cup) division visited.
