An airfield circuit in the Scottish boarders, Winfield held the non-championship Scottish Grand Prix in 1951. Held one week after that year's British Grand Prix, this was a club affair that included two Jaguar XK120s in what was nominally an F1 race. Seven days after retiring at Silverstone on his only World Championship appearance, Philip Fotheringham-Parker (Maserati 4CL) won by 7.4sec.
