In a year where Porsche has gone against the grain, with special editions, one-offs, and one of the fastest cars in motor sport history, it’s doing likewise with the advent calendar.

And it’s not for kids, this one.

In the 24 days in the run up to Christmas, the Porsche Advent Calendar will guide you through slowly building a 1:43 model of a 911. Complete with sound.

Jürgen Lewandowski’s penned a book to go with the model kit, too.

In a nice touch, each door is displayed via a racing 911. And you can even change the backdrop, with six ‘diorama boards’ to slot in behind the finished model.
