LONGER PRESCOTT
The Rugatti Owners’ Club have announced that the Prescott Hill Climb course is to he lengthened by 300 yards. Orchard Corner, the second corner from the start will be eliminated and the fast left. bander after the start will be continued up the hill into the members enclosure for 120 yards A banked hairpin benchvill bring ears back down the hill to rejoin the course at Orchard Corner. This will make the course much more interesting as considerable braking will now be required for Pardon bend. The total length of the course will now be 1,200 yards instead of the previous 800.
The R.A.C. have approved the proposal and work has a:ready been started so that it is hoped to have the new eourse ready for the first National open meeting which takes place on May I.
