As a young boy, I began buying Motor Sport in 1966 and Bob Anderson’s name regularly cropped up in race reports. I became fascinated by this truly amateur driver and his VW transporter van. The thought of him competing all over Europe against the established teams was really Boy’s Own stuff. I do not recall much being written about him then, so Adam Cooper’s article was extremely interesting.
Was there ever a book written about him?
