Goodwood Revival 2026: Vincent Black Shadow takes Barry Sheene Trophy honours
Tom Booth-Amos and Ben Kingham dominate the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy while André Lotterer and Yelmer Buurman add four-wheeled victories to a Goodwood Revival packed with historic machinery and familiar racing names

Le Mans start for the second leg of the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy at the Goodwood Revival. Tom Booth-Amos and Ben Kingham rode their 1954 Vincent Black Shadow to victory in both parts for a comfortable aggregate success. They beat such luminaries as John McGuinness, Troy Bayliss and Ian Hutchinson. Among the four-wheeled highlights, three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner André Lotterer wiped out a false-start penalty for RAC TT Celebration honours with Lukas Halusa in their Jaguar E-type Lightweight ‘lowdrag’ Coupé, and Dutch GT ace Yelmer Buurman teamed up with father-in-law Alexander van der Lof for victory in Friday’s into-the-night Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy in a Ferrari 250 GT SWB/C. The Lavant Cup returned for the first time since 2023 as a two-marque Ferrari-vs-Maserati ‘Battle of Modena’.
