Setting straight a "sprint championship"

Sir, "Setting the record straight" is how Mr. Mackenzie-Wintle, of the Renault Club, describes his letter on the autocross Gordini, which, Motor Sport reported, "narrowly beat" the Manifold VW in 1965.
