Sir, Whilst I found Mr. Hampton's article very interesting, I would like to say that I entirely agree with Mr. A.F. Brookes in both his letters to Motor Sport. Mr. Clutton was, I think, the first to sweep aside all British sports cars, presumably because there is nothing quite comparable with Bugatti and Lago Special Darracq, which I suppose is true.
