AN ELIMINATION TEST FOR THE BOL D’OR.
IN order to ensure that the field of the race for the 13o1 d’Or should be evenly matched, the A.C.I.F. has decided this year to hold an eliminating race. This will take place over the MontIhery road circuit on February 25th. As in the actual Bol d’Or race,
the entrant will have to drive single-handed the whole time, but the eliminating race will only last for eighth ours. At the end of that time the drivers of the two leading cars in the 750 c.c. class, and of the three winning cars in the 1100 c.c. division will have
qualified to take part in the 24-hour Bol d’Or race at St. Germain on May 19th.
English drivers who would like to know more about the conditions of entry should get in touch with Monsieur M. Mauve, 87, Boulevard de Reims, Paris (17e).
