The next F1 race will be the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 23 at the Las Vegas Strip circuit, as the American leg of this year’s F1 calendar reaches its conclusion.

After the Nevada night race, there will be just two races remaining — in the Middle East — as the battle for the drivers’ title comes to a head.

F1 calendar: season run-in

The final part of this year’s F1 calendar mirrors the 2024 season, with an extended run in the Americas preceding the final two rounds in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. The final three rounds are being held on consecutive weekends, bringing the championship battle to a crescendo. All will be decided by the time the chequered flag falls in Yas Marina On December 7.

When is the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

This year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix will require early alarms for European viewers: the race starts at 4am GMT on Sunday November 23 (8pm on Saturday night in Las Vegas). Every single session will be held in the early hours (if you’re in Britain). Friday and Saturday start with practice sessions at 12.30am GMT with Friday practice and Saturday qualifying at 4am GMT.

Where is the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

F1 visits the current Las Vegas street circuit for the third time in 2025, once again combining 200mph+ sections with some sightseeing, as it runs down the Strip and around the glowing Sphere.

The bright lights at night show Vegas at its glitziest, but also results in some of the lowest temperatures of the year, which makes it one of the most challenging rounds for race engineers.

Tyres struggle to get up to temperature on the chilly asphalt, and brakes lose too much heat on the high-speed run down the strip, which can upturn the competitive order — like last year when McLaren has struggled to get to grips with the circuit and George Russell drove to victory for Mercedes.
