The 2024 F1 schedule is longer than ever, with 24 races on the calendar this season — the most in F1’s 75 year history. This includes trips to fan favourites such as Monaco, Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone as well as visits to newer additions on the calendar such as Qatar and Las Vegas. Shanghai also returns after four years away, due to Covid.
The start of the year has seen Red Bull and Max Verstappen resume the dominance that saw them sweep the 2023 championship, but for how long, with Ferrari and McLaren looking threatening?
It’s a year where plenty of drivers have much to prove, with most contracts expiring at the end of the season. Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris have already signed extensions, while Lewis Hamilton has announced his blockbuster move to Ferrari, but more than half of seats remain up for grabs.
