Our annual review of the Formula 1 season is about to go live and we are asking our readers to join us in nominating the best moments from a packed year of drama – plus be in with a chance of winning an incredible racing prize for 2024.

Red Bull dominance, Italian downpours and American drain covers – the 2023 Formula 1 season will probably not go down as an all-time classic. But there was certainly enough drama to keep the faithful entertained. And there are plenty of unanswered questions and potential green shoots to set up next year’s contest very nicely indeed.

But before we get there we are asking readers to help us in deciding the best moments of 2023. Our annual Season Review Awards will be online at the end of the month and asks our knowledgeable followers to choose their favourite race, team and driver from a shortlist compiled by the magazine’s Formula 1 experts. This year we are also including a category for your favourite photograph.

The winner from each category is the one that gains the most votes, cast via the Motor Sport website. In addition the awards will also feature our renowned Hall of Fame, where readers vote for a legend of the sport to join previous inductees such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Ayrton Senna, Damon and Graham Hill and Jim Clark.

The full shortlist will be revealed on our website at the end of November so keep an eye out for that – and remember to have your say because we have teamed up with Goodwood to offer a phenomenal prize to one lucky reader, drawn at random from everyone who casts a vote.

The prize, worth £2000, consists of two general admission tickets and grandstand passes to each day of the West Sussex circuit’s headline events including the Members’ Meeting in April, the Festival of Speed in July and the Revival in September. This also includes a GRRC Fellowship for the year.

Voting opens shortly after the last F1 race of 2023 in Abu Dhabi and closes on December 19. We will announce the winners from each category after Christmas – along with the lucky winner of the grand prize. Readers can enter via our website. Keep an eye on our social channels for updates and the picture round. Good luck.
